Installation & Setup

πŸ”Œ Step 1: Connect GenRouter to the Internet

  • Plug your Internet cable (from your main modem or source) into the WAN port of the GenRouter.

    This allows GenRouter to receive internet connection.


πŸ“Ά Step 2: Connect your device to GenRouter WiFi

  • On your phone or computer, go to WiFi settings.

  • Look for the WiFi name starting with: GENROUTER_2.4G or GENROUTER_5G

  • Connect to this WiFi network.


🌐 Step 3: Access the GenRouter control panel

  • Open a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.)

  • Type this address in the URL bar: 192.168.5.1:9000

  • Press Enter to access the control panel.


If you see the login screen, you’ve successfully connected to the GenRouter system πŸŽ‰ From here, you can start setting up your proxy, VPN, and other features.

πŸ’‘ Tip: It’s recommended to use a laptop or PC for the first-time setup for easier navigation.
