Main Features

Device Manager – Assign Proxy or VPN to Each Connected Device

The Device Manager is where you can see all the devices currently connected to your GenRouter. It also allows you to assign different proxies or VPNs to each device individually.

  • βœ… Assign proxy/VPN per device You can configure a different proxy or VPN for each device connected to GenRouter.

  • βœ… Supports multiple formats GenRouter supports:

    • HTTP Proxy

    • SOCKS5 Proxy

    • VPN (via specific providers or manual config)

  • βœ… Apply settings globally or per device You can either:

    • Add proxy/VPN to a specific device, or

    • Apply one proxy/VPN to all devices at once

    βœ… System Monitoring (CPU, RAM) GenRouter allows you to monitor key system metrics to ensure the router operates stably:

    • CPU Usage: Real-time CPU usage chart

    • RAM Usage: Displays current RAM usage level

    • Overload Alert: Option to enable alerts when the system exceeds safe thresholds.

    βœ… Multilingual Support for the Dashboard Interface GenRouter now supports multiple languages for greater convenience for global users:

    • Vietnamese

    • English

    βœ… Isolated Mode – Protect IP, Block Devices Not Using Proxy When Isolated mode is enabled, GenRouter will:

    • Automatically block Internet connections of any device not assigned a proxy

    • Only allow devices configured with the proxy connection


πŸ–₯️ Interface Overview

In the Device Manager panel, you'll see:

Column
Description

Device Name

Name of the connected phone/computer

MAC Address

Hardware ID of each device

IP Address

Local IP assigned by GenRouter

Device Status

Online / Offline status

Proxy Type

Choose between HTTP, SOCKS5, or VPN

Add Proxy/VPN

Enter credentials in the format: ip:port:user:password or VPN string


πŸš€ How to Use:

  1. Connect your device (phone, computer, etc.) to the GenRouter WiFi.

  2. Go to Device Manager on the left sidebar.

  3. In the list of connected devices, find your device by name or IP.

  4. Choose a proxy type (HTTP/SOCKS5/VPN).

  5. Enter the full proxy or VPN string in the format:

    Or VPN string if supported.

  6. Click "Apply for Device" on the top right to activate the settings.

πŸ”„ Alternatively, you can click "Set up Router" to apply one proxy/VPN to all devices connected to the router.


πŸ“Œ Important Note: Make sure your proxy/VPN credentials are valid. If entered incorrectly, the device may lose internet access.
