⚙️ Set up Router – Global Proxy/VPN + WebRTC Protection

If you want to apply a single proxy or VPN to all devices connected to GenRouter, click the "Set up Router" button at the top right of the Device Manager.

This will open a setup window with the following options:

🔢 IP LAN Field

  • This shows the local IP address of the router, e.g. 192.168.12.1

  • Normally, you don’t need to change this unless you're customizing the internal network. Leave it as default for most users.

🛡️ WebRTC Interference Mode

  • When enabled, this mode helps prevent WebRTC leaks.

  • What is WebRTC? WebRTC is a browser-based technology used for video/audio communication (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). But it can leak your real IP address, even when you're using a proxy or VPN.

  • Why enable this? If you’re using proxies to hide your IP and identity (e.g. for farming accounts), you should enable this option to prevent accidental exposure through the browser.

📌 Recommendation: ✅ Tick this option if you are using Chrome or any browser to avoid leaking your real IP address.

✅ To apply settings:

  1. (Optional) Change the LAN IP if needed

  2. ✅ Tick "WebRTC Interference Mode" to activate protection

  3. Click Apply to confirm

Once applied, the proxy/VPN setting will affect all devices connected to the GenRouter network.
