Before you can use PPPoE mode, you must first switch your ISP modem to Bridge Mode.
Here are the basic guides for some major Vietnamese ISPs:
• Viettel:
VNPT:
FPT:
⚠️ If your modem is an older model, please contact your ISP’s customer support for assistance enabling Bridge Mode.
You’ll need a PPPoE username and password provided by your ISP.
• This information is usually available in the modem’s admin interface.
• If you can’t find it, contact your ISP’s support to retrieve it.
Step-by-step Instructions:
Step 1:
Connect a cable from your ISP modem (after enabling Bridge Mode) to the WAN port on your router.
Step 2:
Access the router’s admin page:
http://192.168.5.1:9000
Step 3: Navigate to the “PPPoE Manager” tab and click the gear icon ⚙️ on the right side.
Step 4: Switch from DHCP Mode to PPPoE Mode.
Step 5: Enter your PPPoE username and password, then click Update.
Step 6: Wait for 2–3 minutes, then click the gear icon again to verify.
🔄 If it still doesn’t work, try refreshing the page and repeat the steps above.
✅ If you see an IP address displayed in the top-right corner, PPPoE setup is successful.
Step 1: Click “Add WAN”
Step 2: Select interface “eth1”
Step 3:
Fill in your Proxy Username and Proxy Password (optional — if left blank, random values will be generated).
Enable “Rotating WAN” if you want to use a rotating proxy.
Then, click “Add”.
Step 4:
You will see your proxy listed in the interface below.
⏳ Wait 2–3 minutes for the proxy to become active. If not, click “Reset IP”.
Step 5: Once the proxy is successfully created, the interface will look like this:
• On the left, you’ll see the local proxy address.
• On the right, you’ll see the public proxy address that can be used externally.
💡 Note: If your PC is connected to the same router network, please use the local proxy address for best performance.
